Detailed Itinerary

DAY 01 AHMEDABAD - DWARKA (450KMS)

We will pick you up from Ahemadabad railway station or the airport and today we will move for Dwarka visit.

Dwarka: The ancient city of Dwarka is one of the major pilgrimage centres of India which is famous for the Dwarkadhish temple of the Hindus.Legend says that Lord Krishna had moved to the beautiful coastal town of Dwarka which was set up as the capital at that time.The Marine excavations of the Dwarka cost bear testimony to the evidences embedded of the ancient city and is known as the Dwarkawati of the Krishna Lila.The major pilgrimage center enjoys the privilege of white serene beaches and is one of the beach getaways.

Dwarka is also famous for the SabhaMandap which is a 60 pillar hall which is a place for the 2500 year old scriptues.The halls named Jharokas offer a mesmerizing view of the beautiful Gomti River.You can also attend the everning aarti at the Dwarkadhish temple.

We will stay at Dwarka.

DAY 02 DWARKA - BET DWARKA-NAGESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA-RUKMINI TEMPLE – GOPI TALAV - DWARKA

We will visit the religious locations of Bet Dwarka and the Nageshwar Temple.

Bet Dwarka- Bet is located at a distance of 30 kms from the Dwarka city and is surrounded by the sea from four sides.You can reach Bet from Dwarka throughOkha by road.Okha road jetty is one destination we will reaah for Bet through a ferry ride over the sea.

The Nageshwar temple or the Nagnath Temple is located between the Gomati Dwarka and the Bet Dwarka Island and is located on the coast of the Saurashtra in Gujarat.The Jyotirlinga which is enshrined in the temple of Nagnath is also known as the Nageshwar Mahadev which attracts thousnads of devotees from all over the world.The Jyotirlinga is a symbol of protection from all kinds of poisions and is a renowned symbol of Hindu religion.

The Rukmini templw which dates back to the 12 to 13 Century which was built in the honour of Rani Rukmani who was the princess of Vidharbha and was married to Sishupala but had fled with Lord Krishna.The temple which is located at 1.5km in the north of the city is a piece of majestic architecture and skills.The temple walls was decorated with beautiful sculptures and paintings.

Gopi Talav is a place where Lord Krishna played with his Gopikas.

We will return to the hotel at Dwarka for the overnight stay.

DAY 03 DWARKA - SOMNATH (250KMS)

We will start for the Somnath Temple early morning for a 5 hour drive which is a famous for the devotion of Shiva and Vishnu.The most important of all the shrines in Somnath will be the Kailash temple with the architecture and huge 50 metre high tower and with elaborate carvings with idols and images.

We will visit the Bhalka teerth in the Veraval district.Bhalka Tirth or the Bhalka Pilgrimage is located in the Prabhas Kshetra near the Veraval in Saurashtra on the western cost of the state of Gujarat.This is the place where Lord Krishna was hit by an arrow by Jara,a hunter after which Lord Krishna left for heavenly abode.

We will visit the Somnath Temple for the evening Aarti and then witness the majestic Sound and Light show we will visit for the beach of Somnath and then we will move for the beautiful shores.We will then move for the hotel at Somnath after enjoying the captivating sight of the might seas with blue waters and white sands.

DAY 04 SOMNATH - AHMEDABAD (400KMS)

We will start the journey for Ahmedabad and arrive for check in at the designated hotel.We will then visit for Gandhi Ashram.

Gandhi Ashram is a quiet place near the Sabarmati river which Mahatma Gandhi had set up in the year 1915.The Satyagrah Ashram was the birthplace of the freedom movement and in 1930 Mahatma started the Dandi march for the sea to protest against the Salt Tax by the British.The Hridaya Kunj is the cottage where Mahatma Gandhi stayed and it is one of the important tourist attractions.

We will stay at Ahmedabad for the night.

DAY 05: AHMEDABAD - DAKOR - AHMEDABAD

We will start for Dakor after having breakfast and then we will go for a drive of 90 kms.After Dakor darshan we will move for Ahmedabad and reach to our hotel.Local sightseeing tours will be done and then we will move for the Vaishno Devi temple and then to Iskcon temple.We will then visit the Handloom bazar and the handicrafts shops while visiting the Law Garden.

We will stay at the hotel in Ahmedabad.

DAY 06: AHMEDABAD - UDAIPUR (250KM)

After having breakfast we will move for Udaipur.The city of Udaipur is a beauty set in the middle of the Aravalli hills of South Rajasthan.It is one of the most romantic cities and often referred to as the city of sunrise.The city is famous for marble palaces and lakes with gardens and has been named the "Venice of the East".The city was founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in the year 1559 which was a city of forts with temples,palaces and mighty havelis.The city became the nerve centre of performing arts,crafts and paintings.

We will begin the tour for the Udaipur with visits to the City Palace and Museum.This is the largest palace complex and is a mix of the Mughal and Rajput architectures.The 17th century temple known as Jagdish temple is a mesmerizing artwork with our visit to the Fatehsagar Lake which is known as the Sahelion ki Bari or the Garden of Maidens which is culmination of gardens and marble kiosks with fountains.We will go for an evening boat ride at the Lake Pichola.

DAY 07 – UDAIPUR

We will start the drive for Nathdwara which is 200 kms and after breakfast we will visit the following locations like Nathdwara with the Srinath Dwarka and Govardhana Hill.We will then visit Kankroli which is known as the Vaishnava temple.

We will stay at the Udaipur hotel.

DAY 08 – UDAIPUR – AHMEDABAD (252KMS)

We will drive for Ahmedabad and then you can start your return journey for Ahmedabad railway station or the airport.
