The Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes 7 to 12 days, dependant upon your itinerary and duration of walking times. The route presented here takes 12 days, starting from Nayapul and going north up to Ghorepani and also the famous point of view at Poon Hill. From Ghorepani you move eastward to Chomrong and after that north again entering the Modi Kola Valley which leads up to the base camp. DAY 1: Arrival in Pokhara (2690 ft.)
The first day includes arrival in Pokhara. Itâ€™s the day of acclimatization. You will meet our guides who will give you proper instructions and details regarding the trek.
DAY 2: Towards Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (6,364 ft)
We will take a bus towards Nayapul where our journey of the trek starts. We will descend towards Birethanti crossing Bhurungdi River. After this, we have to climb upwards to Ghandruk via Chane. The trek is initially simple and lies across the Modi River. Lots of leisure activities are waiting for you in Ghandruk. We will take the overnight rest at Ghandruk.
DAY 3: towards Sinuwa (7,742 ft.)
The day 3 starts from trek towards Sinuwa. We will follow the path of the Modi River where we have to cross several boulders also. At last we will cross Kimrong River. After that the trail will become steep upto Gurung village in Chhomrong. Then we have to cross a bridge over the Chhmorong River. As we move to Sinuwa, we will see some eye capturing views of the hills and the forests. We will stay in Sinuwa.
DAY 4: towards Deurali (10,597 ft.)
The trek starts from Sinuwa and towards Kuldhigar. Then the amazing trek towards Dobhan starts. The trek consists of crossing suspension bridges, bamboo, rhodendron and Oak forest.
We will hike from there towards Hinku Cave, Himalayas. After that, we will head towards our final destination of the day Deurali.
DAY 5: to Annapurna base camp (13,549 ft.)
This will be one of the most adventurous treks as we will move to our final destination, Annapurna Base Camp. We will trail towards Modi River and reach to Bagar. Bagar is the starting point of the base camp (3,700 m). From Bagar we will move to Machhapuchare, where we will explore majestic peaks of the area. The trek leads us to Annapurna Sanctuary. A 360 degree view can be seen of the highest mountains of the world after hiking across the South Annapurna. At last overnight stay is at Annapurna Base Camp.
DAY 6: Towards Bamboo (7,677 ft.)
We will move to Bamboo crossing via Bagar, Deurali and Dobhan. Before reaching we will have to cross many waterfalls, caves, temples, and forests of rhodendron and oak .At last, We will have overnight stay on Bamboo.
DAY 7: to Jhinu Hot spring (5,839 ft.)
We will hike to Kuldhigar and visit the office of ACAP. Now from here onwards we have to descend down to Sinuwa and then cross Chhomrong river and reach Gurung Village. We will have our overnight stay in Jhinu Danda.
DAY 8: To Pokhara
We will begin by crossing Modi River and crossing various village settlements to reach Syauli Bazaar.
Now we have is a flat trek till Nayapul, where we would take a bus to Pokhara and spend the evening exploring Pokhara. The overnight stay is at Pokhara.
Day 9: Departure
We will be having checkout after the breakfast.
