Triund Laka Glacier trek is 7-9 Kms from Bhagsunath through different routes.The best route for Triund and Laka Glacier trek is via Galu devi or Dharamkot. You have to trek for 9 km from Bhagusu to reach Triund hill and from there Laka glacier is approx. 2 km uphill. The entire trek gives you awesome view of Dhauladhar's snow capped peaks and Kangra valley

Day 01: McLeod Ganj – Triund (2975m) 9Km
The reporting will be our camping base at McLeodgunj which is around 1km from the bus stand or the main Chowk at McLeodgunj.
The trek starts from here and we move through forests of rhododendron, deodar and oak trees. There will be a steep ascent of 2km and there we will have a descent till Galu Devi temple. The last 1 km will be a steep ascent through the forest until we reach Triund which is a flat meadow on the ridge. We will have majestic views of the Dhauladhar range and the Kangra Valley.Night stay at Tents.

Day 02 Triund - Lake Got (3300m). - 6km
After the short ascent from Triund we will reach a ridge to reach the Laka Got or the Laka Glacier which is a temporary shepherd camp. The Laka Got is situated on the snout of a smaller glacier. Snow can be expected during early summer. After that there is a steep ascent from the Laka Got to the Lahesh caves. After we reach Lahesh caves we will come down for the Laka Glacier camp at night.

Day 03: Laka Got - Mcleodganj -15km
Follow the same route on the way back or a different one from Triund going over a grassy meadow and descend down to Bhagsu Nag and then to Mcleodganj.
