About Best of Kerala tour

You’ll start your day from the Cochin Airport/Train station and reach Munnar sightseeing the route, halts being Cheeryapara and Valara waterfalls. Once in Munnar you’ll visit the famous Rajamalai National Park and the silver cascades at the Anamudi Peak. Kannar Devan tea museum and the local market are sure to take your heart away.

Proceeding to Alleppey, an important tourist destination of India, also known as the “Venice of east’ and the ’Venetian Capital’, which carries its own picturesque beauty. Alleppey doubles up as the access point of the ‘Nehru Trophy Boat Race’. You’ll put up in a house boat and go for a day cruise in the famous backwaters of Kerala. Monsoon season unlike Munnar can be furious in Alleppey. The best time to witness the charm of both Munnar and Alleppey together is mid to end of October. Munnar and Alleppey together is a trip of a lifetime.

Day 1: Cochin- Munnar(140 Kms. 5 Hrs.)

  • On arrival at the airport/Train station, hop on to a waiting
  • Vehicle. The weather gets transformed from hot humid heat to a pleasant temperate climate as you
  • Ascend into the hills. After a brief halt at the Cheeyapara & Valara waterfalls proceed to Munnar.
  • In the afternoon hours, visit Kundala Arch dam, on the way down pass via Echo Point, Mattupetty,
  • Elephant Camp and Rose Garden. Night halt at Munnar.

Day 2 Munnar: (Forenoon):

  • Visit the Rajamalai National Park. While inside the park, breathe taking
  • View of the Anamudi peak (the highest peak south of the Himalayan range) with a flowing silver
  • Cascading fall is a delight to the eyes.
  • (Afternoon) – Kannan Devan Tea Museum provides an interesting insight about the history, culture,
  • Tea plantation and tea processing. On conclusion of the days trip a visit to the local bazaar sums up
  • the day. Over Night stay at Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar – Alleppey (Forenoon) (180 Kms – 4.5 Hrs.)

  • Enroute acquaint yourself with the different kinds of herbs grown in the region by visiting the spice garden.
  • Proceed to Alleppey and check into House boat in the afternoon.
  • A day cruise along the backwaters to enjoy the country side. Over Night stay at Alleppey Houseboat

Day 4: Alleppey – Cochin (55 km 01 hrs.)

  • time Availability), stop at Fort Kochi /Mattancherry for half a day sightseeing tour. After that – Proceed to
