Brahmagiri trek is a moderate level trek which offers stunning views of the evergreen and semi-evergreen forest, shola patches and open grasslands of the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary Adding to the adventure of the trek is the stay at a forest guesthouse / camp in the forest and taking shower under the cascading Irpu falls.

Leave from Bangalore at 10 p.m.
Reach Srimangala early in morning. After breakfast we start the trek from Irpu falls by walking along plantation trails and shola forest to reach our campsite, forest hut in jungle. After leaving our bags there we carry only the essential items and trek to the top of Brahmagiri peak passing through shola forests, grasslands and crossing streams. If we are lucky we sight some animals along the path. From the top of the peak we can see panoramic views of South Karnataka and North Kerala ghats. Head back to our campsite by late afternoon and reach our campsite before nightfall. Overnight Campfire & Dinner.
After breakfast we walk down some forest trails and breach Irpu falls where we stand under the falls and take shower and spend some time there. Later leave for Kutta for lunch and head back to Bangalore via the road that passes through Nagerhole Wildlife Sanctuary. Reach Bangalore by 10 p.m.
