Malana trek is most probably the most lucrative and intriguing trek from Kasol to Malana village. There is no direct motorable road from Kasol to Malana. You need to go halfway by Cab (This cost will have to be paid on actual basis on spot). From there the trek to Malana starts. The route is very beautiful and beyond description. The view of high altitude conifer forest, hilly village road, snow capped Dhauladhar range and the dreamy sound of Parvati river will make this trek impossible to forget.
Day 1: Reach Kasol by 10 AM & drive to Malana and then trek to Malana. Night stay at Malana
Reach Kasol by 10 AM in the morning. Drive halfway to Malana. The road ends at a point. From there you have to trek uphill to reach Malana village. The trail is breathtakingly beautiful. Mountain, river, forest, chirping birds, smiling local villagers will ease out your fatigue of trekking. Explore Malana village and its culture. Overnight stay at Malana.
Day 2: Trek and drive back to Kasol and leave for Bhuntar for your return journey to Delhi
After breakfast start your trek to Kasol. Reach Kasol by noon. Rest for some time and leave campsite. you can have your lunch on way some where or evergreen cafe or in Manikaran gurudwara.
