Chanderkhani pass is one of the 60+ passes of the beautiful state of Himachal. The pass opens up to malana village which is world famous for its mystic beauty.
Also, once the trek ends you are free to explore the village of Kasol which is famous for its 'Trance' & 'Shanti' vibe.

Day 1: Haripur – Pulag – Chaklani – 6 hrs. of trekking
Reach to the beautiful base camp at Haripur from Patlikul. Patlikul comes 20km before Manali when you are going to Manali from Delhi. From Patlikul Haripur is just a small drive away. Have your breakfast at the base camp and then hit the trail. Reach the beautiful village called Pulag after 1 hour trek. Pulag is a small Himalayan village and blessed with intoxicating beauty of high altitude Himalayan land. The thick forest of Birch, Rhododendron, Pine and the towering peaks of Dhauladhar range and Bara bhangal range makes it like a picture on canvas. from Pulag, you gradually climb to Chaklani, the camping spot for the night. Chaklani provides a breathtaking view of seven sisters, Mount Hanuman Tibba and Indrasan peak.
Day 2: Chaklani to Nagruni – 5 – 6 hrs. of trekking
Next morning start your trek from Chaklani to reach Chanderkhani pass. Chanderkhani pass is approx. 14000ft. high and extremely beautiful, serene and quiet. This is also known as 'Valley of Gods'. From Chanderkhani

The Dhauladhar you see here, can not be seen from anywhere else in Himachal. From Chandarkhani start the walk to the beautiful open meadows of Nagruni, which is the camping site for 2nd night. Camp here with bonfire and enjoy the wild serene beauty.
Day 3: Nagruni – Malana – Nehrang – 4 Hrs. of trekking
Start the day with healthy breakfast. The famous village of Malana is nearby and a short walk away. Arrive and explore the historical & mystic village of Malana and interact with the natives to know more about the culture of this world famous village. The trek takes approx. 3 hours. From Malana reach the Nehrang camp site. End your day with bonfire and scrumptious dinner.
Day 4. Nehrang – Jari – 3 hrs
Today morning you trek down to Jari on the Manikaran road.The descent takes about 4 hours. Then walk another 30 minutes by the road to reach Kasol. Explore Kasol which needs no introduction. At Kasol your trek ends and you start your return journey. You can easily get cab/ bus for Kullu from Kasol for your onward journey.
FAQ for Chanderkhani Pass Malana trek
Will toilet tents be provided?
It is not a budget trek. You will be trekking in a luxury style. The dry pit toilet facilities will be provide at each camping site.
Will hot water be available?
Hot waters will be provided at each camp for drinking purpose.
What kind of food will be provided?
At base camp you can have buffet options. During trek nutritious, sumptuous meals will be provided. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, soups etc. in adequate quantity will be provided.
I do not want to carry my baggage. Will there be porter to carry it?
Yes. porters will be there to carry your luggage. But it should not weigh more than 10kgs.
Can I stay one day extra at the base camp as I am reaching one day prior to trek?
Yes. You can stay at the base camp, full of orchards, fruit trees etc, with the organizers. You only need to pay a very meager amount for your food. Stay will be totally free
How to reach the base camp?
You just need to reach Patlikul which comes 20 km before Manali bus stand. All Delhi to Manali buses ply via Patlikul only. From Patlikul the organizers will pick you up.
