Hampta pass is situated between the Lahaul & Spitti valley of Uttarakhand. These two valleys have been separated by Rohtang pass. You will follow the trail through the Hampta pass which provides spectacular walk, gorgeous view of Dhauladhar, Chandrabhaga and gives access to two different terrains. This place is a bird's paradise and you can see numerous species of them.
Length: 6 days; Rumsu to Rumsu. Trekking from Jobri to Chhatru around 35 km.
Access to Hampta Pass: Rumsu is easily accessible from Patlikul which is aaacessible from delhi/chandigarh
Highest Point: Hampta Pass (approx. 4300m/14100 ft)
Trek Grade: Easy to Moderate (depending on snow conditions)

Day 01 : Reporting at Rumsu Base Camp
Participants have to get down at Patlikuhl (20 kms after Kullu) and take transport for Rumsu village (12 kms). After Registration, acclimatisation walk. Post lunch adventure activity and orientation. Overnight at Rumsu base
Day 02: Rumsu to Chikka
Jeep Ride to Hamta Dam and trek to Chikka campsite. Trek Duration will be approx. 2 hours. The level of the trek is easy.
Day 03: Chikka to Balu ka Gera
Trek from Chikka to Balu Ka Gera. Trek duration is 6 hours. It will be a moderate level trek
Day 04: Bhalu ka Gera-Shiagoru via Hampta pass
Trek from Balu ka Ghera to Hamta Pass. Descend to Shia Goru campsite. Trek duration is 8 hours. Trek level is moderate.
Day 05 : Shiagoru- Chhatru & drive to Chandratal (14,100 feet)
In morning we cross the river and keep descending. Finally we reach the wide valley of river Chandra and continue our work. We maintain our forward march towards Chhatru. If road and weather condition permits head to Chandra Tal camp site for camping after having a hot lunch at chatru, otherwise do camping in Chatru
Day 06 : Chhatru - Rumsu base camp
