White water rafting on the River Kali etches an unforgettable experience in one’s mind. The fast flowing River Kali provides rapids of Grade II and III difficulty and is considered one of the best spots for beginners. It’s not mandatory to know swimming for river rafting.
Dandeli is located on the banks of River Kali in the middle of Western Ghats. It falls in the northern part of Karnataka (125 Kms from Goa). Dandeli is known for its lush green valleys which is surrounded by deciduous trees and it is also home to a few exotic animals like elephant, tiger, Black Panther. River Kali in Dandeli offers white water rafting for 9 Km that lasts for four and a half hours. The river offers rapids of Grade II and Grade III.
Day 01: Arrive at the camp site
After reaching the camp site, you can pick activity of your choice. Post this activity, lunch will be served. One can opt for either vegetarian food or non-vegetarian food. Rafting is the next planned activity. Once you are back from rafting, one can indulge in games like volley ball, etc. After having snacks and tea, one either can either choose to take rest or continue the available sport. Before saying good night, don’t forget to attend the bonfire and yes, food will be ready to be served, please don't skip your dinner.
Day 02: Water Zorbing and Coracle ride
After a good night's sleep, kick start your day with a power packed breakfast. Water Zorbing and Coracle rides are fun activities which are lined up for the day. Lunch will be served at the camp site.

How to Reach to Dandeli river rafting camp site?
One of the most convenient way to reach Dandeli is to travel by train . Train no.16589 leaves Bangalore at 21:15 PM and reaches Alnawar junction at 7:15 AM. Government and private buses also ply from Bangalore to Dandeli, one may also like to explore this option. Transportation can be arranged from the Alnawar junction to the camsite or from Dandeli bus stop to the campsite.
