Facts about Prashar Lake
Prashar Lake Height - 2730 metres above the mean sea level
History of Prashar Lake - The place is believed to be holy and considered as the meditation spot for Maharishi Parashara who is the author of many ancient texts.The lake also has an island.A three storied temple dedicated to the sage Parashara can also be seen.The temple is believed to be built in the thirteenth century.
Day 1 : Guesthouse at Panarsa - Travel to Jwalapur via Taxi a distance of 25 kms - Prashar Lake Trek of 9 kms
Day-2 : Prashar Lake trek back to Jawalapur and then travel to Panarsa (25 km with shared cab)
1.Arrival at Panarsa at 8 am and then check in yo the Prashar Lake accommodation
2.Breakfast will be served and then we will starth the transfer for Jwalapur village with the help of shared cabs which is a distance of 25kms
3.We will start the trek to Prashar Lake and packed lunch will be served.The trek distance is 9 km.
4.Camps at Prashar Lake will be pitched to enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the Lake and you can also do photography
5.Dinner will be served and you will camp under the stars.
1.Wake up early morning and enjoy the beautiiful sunrise of Prashar Lake with the view of the Himalayas.
2.We will serve breakfast and then trek back to Jwalapur village which is a distance of 9 kms.
3.Shared cabs transfer to Panarsa and lunch will be served at Panarsa
4.You can enjoy the river side view and get some great pictures
5.Departure for Delhi at around 6-7 pm.
1.All 5 meals (2 breakfast, 2 lunch,1 dinner and tea ).All meals will be vegetarian.
2.Freshening up and transit room on the day of arrival at our Prahsar Lake accommodation.
